The event began at 11:30 with business networking and continued late into the afternoon. Ticket sales, sweeps, through raffle ticket sales and auction raised enough money for the Special Olympics Australia. Melbourne Cup Day is all about the big races, but the fundraising event has become a major networking and business events.
